Along the winding trail of the northern paradise

A lonely Indian Maid
Did send a love call out across the star filled sky
To her young Brave, she hoped it sails
And tell him of how she will love him until she dies

You can hear it echoing
Far out across the lakes of natures wild wild land
Where the moonbeams cast their mystic spells
And the wippoorwill chants its mournful lowly song

And the great falls wind up there
Does echo through the Vines and along the mountain side
And adds its nightly lullaby
For the sleeping little birds of the northern paradise

But what she does not know
Is that her warrior lies along the silent stream
No more to stroll with his young Maid
Or caress her while they wander through through their dreams

But still she waits for him
For in her heart she knows that never will he die
And always they will stroll together
