Geneve Decree's attitude and style, as much as their music,

strongly influenced many other Balkan punk rock bands from

the 1980s. They are generally credited with pioneering the

advocacy of radical politics.

1996. the three members met in Sweden by coincidence

and in march 1997 they went into the studio to record their third album

"10 YEARS".

With a new guitar player (Haris) it was slightly different material than

previous, more "back to the roots" and sound came closer to old punk.

The whole reunion thing was a very emotional time for all band members.

They find themselves facing old issues again.

1998/99 They came back together to play a small number of live

shows, many accompanied by rumors of being the "final show".

In year 2000 the band returned home and shifted focus to other projects

outside the GD. & Couple of more Comp CDs:

¤ No border Jam vol. 4&5 Front rock rec.[1997] ( Slovenia)

¤ Plastic Bomb 28 [1999] (Germany)

¤ High Road To Obscurity Grand Theft Audio [2000] ( CA, USA)

¤ Best of Europe - Delirium Tremens [2004] (Sweden).

Their strong influence continues in other Balkan PUNK & HC bands.

THE NITKOVI covered two GD songs (DON'T WANNA BE A PART OF FUCKIN MASS & THE PRESENT) on their first album "A USHA", THE BLOCKBASTARDS covered also "DON'T WANNA BE A PART OF FUCKIN MASS", DRINCERI covered "HIT" & BAD BLUES BAND covered the "NEW DAY".

In 2006, it was officially announced that GENEVE DECREE would

finally reunite.Fourth album "THE BEST OF"(1985-2006) remastered -

a compilaton of all best GD songs with new single "ALCOHOL".

They emidiatly started to working on material for a new album.

26.January 2007 Geneve Decree's original lead guitar player

and dear friend Djoko Coric passed away due to secondary

health problems.

It was a tragic experience for everyone involved. His death had an big effect on GD and they decided to take a break from
