Music has always been a main part of JAFFA SURFA aka DJ ZEE's life. Sitting hours and hours at his tape recorder at the age of 8, listening and recording a lot of old disco, rock and pop stuff, he learned to play the guitars by himself, and he also played drums and keyboards.

He played in a duo band with his cousine, performing songs from The Shadows, Santana etc. Later he got acquainted with turntables and dj-ing and he was hooked on house music so he started collecting vinyl records. The first appearances were at some private house parties with friends. In the beginning he played techno, house, tribal, epic-house tracks, nowadays we can find from nudisco through deep & chicago house to fresh minimal funk and groovy hypnotic techhouse sounds in his sets.

In 2001 he was the winner of the Check Magazine bedroom dj contest and earned the second place at Red Bull Master Of Music dj championship in 2004 from the 317 competitors with his 3 turntable set. From 2002 to 2009 he was resident dj at ROXY CLUB and editor and broadcaster at ALISCA GROOVE 91.1FM radio from 2002 to 2004. Since april 2009 he is resident dj at "The Debut" events, one of the best house music nights in Budapest. His own parties called *audiodelight special* are successful and beloved all over the country in the underground house scene.

Along with Gergely Tar, they have a unique live set with percussions, decks, drum machine, FX and sometimes live vocalists and these instruments are also used in his own productions.

Jaffa played at Hungary's best clubs, festivals and had gigs outside Hungary in countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain (during the Sonar Festival), Greece, Romania alongside worldwide known names like Eddie Richards, Jay Tripwire, Nima Gorji, Audiofly, Manuel Tur, Gerwin Kante, Funk D'Void, Marco Nastic, Justin Drake.



Starting with year 2006 he began producing his own tracks. His releases appear at on growing labels such as: Off, Bosconi, All Inn, Devoted, Universal Vibes, Irma with big support from names like DJ Sneak, Minimono, Audiofly, Federico Molinari, D'Julz, Alex Picone, Lauhaus, Doc Martin, DJ Wild, Robert Dietz, Kabale & Liebe, Agnés, Gel Abril, Mark Farina, Hector Moralez, etc.
