YUNG PIMP

A talented star from a young age, Cassadarius “Yung Pimp” Smith was born of music. Coming from a musical background, but didn’t step into music first off. He had many talents from the start; A self-taught gymnast, artist, and a self-proclaimed genius in academia!, but didn’t discover his musical talents until middle school. He began by beating on tables in class and at lunch and where ever he would be, he just couldn’t get the beats out of his head. By the time he hit high school, he had adopted a new nickname amongst his peers, “The Little Drummer Boy”. Later deemed “Pimp” for other reasons, he went along with this name for some time,
until people started noticing that most every time they see him he would be with a different female friend, hence the name “Yung Pimp”. Not to mention he looked up to “Pimp C” of “UGK” a lot. So he came up with the acronym “People In Motivational Positions”.
So that is what his name became, a means for him to lead! Over this period of time in school and in the streets he had met many other artists and began forming his own rap groups in which he would “freestyle” with. But the groups began wanting to do more and wanted to get into recording, and so, he co-founded the group “Choppa Squad” alongside Kennty “Lil Juice” Collier, his best friend at the time. This was the group of people in which he would grow with and build upon his talents, by this time he had already discovered a popular program among new and upcoming producers by the name of “Fruity Tracks”, later named “Fruity Loops”, then “FL Studio”. He began to produce his own instrumentals which made him a producer first, and as he learned more he taught others his skill and helped them mold the craft to take their dreams head on also. He turned his freestyle form of rap and started writing it, making him a writer. Then, later began to learned to engineer
and tried his best to perfect it, bringing him into Engineering, and later, Dj’ing. He honed his crafts as he worked alongside a lot of the most known and sought after artists in his area and in a wide variety of places also.
Later, he began to do graphics for C.D. and mixtape covers, fliers, etc., so he wouldn’t have to pay anyone to do it for him. Throughout this time he had been promoting himself his groups and all of his talents to the masses to get a good buzz going for himself in the streets and on the internet. Trying to branch off
into modeling and acting he started getting multiple photo shoots and getting his face seen at every party and video shoots and anything he could get himself into.
He has had the number one (#1) video/song on Ludacris’ Wemix.Com alongside Q’pee for over 2 years, Over 1.5 million plays and over 600,000 views on Myspace.Com, one of
the most respected artists on SpitYoGame.Com, thousands of subscribers, followers, & viewers on YouTube.Com, UStream.Tv, Twitter.Com, & FaceBook.Com, and an avid
list of pages linked to his name on thousands of search engines, mixtape and music sites alike. Along with many other websites of various proportions and varieties,
he is still working hard to bring his fans and supporters nothing but the best music, or any kind of entertainment they should seek for that matter.
He signed a major artist deal with UVF/IMG/Universal in the summer of 2010. Has appeared in numerous videos (including FYEBOY's 3 video mini-movie);
Booking and performing at hundreds of live shows; still in the studio working on new music, new beats, and engineering for himself and other artists; & getting into
preparation for his upcoming full-featured film roles since doing so. Is there any stopping this guy!
