Yterb was created at the beginning of 2005, as a group aiming at playing a kind of metal different from anything that had existed before. What distinguishes Yterb from other metal groups is the fact that besides drums it consists of two bass guitars and only one electric guitar. The main purpose of the band is not to follow any previously created patterns. However, their characteristic simple song themes brings to mind associations with industrial music.



Yterb powstal na poczatku 2005r, jako zespol zamierzajacy grac nowy typ metalu, inny niz wszystkie dotychczasowe. Szukajac nowego brzmienia, Yterb wyroznil sie od wiekszosci kapel metalowych skladem zespolu. Oprocz perkusji znajduja sie w nim dwa basy i tylko jedna gitara. Niepowielanie schematow stalo sie glownym celem grupy. Jednak charakterystyczna, prosta linia melodyczna, budzi skojarzenie z brzmieniem industrialnym.
