CITY

Greg Winiewicz (CITY) was born on June 25, 1988 in Lake Forest, Illinois. He spent his child hood in the northern suburb of Chicago called Waukegan. Not a very nice place but him and his family made the best of it. His parents were going through a big move out to Las Vegas from the times of 1995 through 1999. Greg and his Dad (Greg Sr.) finally made it to Las Vegas in 99 and the family all got a place close to the Las Vegas Strip. Through all the time they lost most of their family members to illness or devastating deaths. Greg's uncle Mike"RAZZLE" was one of his favorite Uncles who he looked up to extremely and gave Greg a since of his great personality was killed at work when a train struck him while working on the railroad tracks. This was very devastating on Greg and after that he knew he must live everyday to the fullest with no regrets just like his Uncle. When 2003 came around is when Greg finally picked up the hobby of rapping, although he has been doing different music his whole life and learned and has experience with a good amount of instruments. In 2004, under the name of BANDIT he dropped his very first album titled, "It's Official" which held 10 tracks on it. In the end of 2005 he finally made the name change to CITY and it stuck! Under that name he dropped his second album in 2006, titled, "Chi Town Story" which through his music brings you to the streets of Chicago and expresses day to day life of his home town. That same year he graduated High School with a 3.8 grade average and achieved a scholarship of 10 grand to any College in the state of Nevada. He enrolled in CSN(College of Southern Nevada) and is currently in a music program which is helping a great deal in his life. He is also a manager/projectionist at a movie theatre that he has been working for since 2005. City has also just released as of Sept. 2007 his third album titled, "Pushin" and also dropped a mixtape titled "A Rapper's Education" which were both giving out free of charge(JUST DONATIONS) to support his late friend/companion "Rocky" who recently passed away. Greg(CITY) will be a successful man in life no matter what obstacles are ahead of him. As long as he keeps the passion burning inside of him, HE CAN'T BE STOPPED!!



As of now CITY has graduated his college program and is official CERTIFIED in Audio Engineering and Music Business! Also has dropped a group album with his rap crew (TMWK) and it is a self titled album and available for a limited time. Following the TMWK album he has been performing LIVE shows and events in Las Vegas. He has also launched CITY BEATZ, finally after years of hard work final has some stability and some good sounding quality production and has been working with producing local artists. He is also enrolled back at CSN (College of Southern Nevada) to continue his studies and is in route to achieve a Associates of Applied Science Business Degree!
