Yosh first Sound System was in summer 97 at "plage des Vengerons" (Versoix) where they organized a free open air sound.
After a few private parties (so many birthdays.), in 2001, the crew really started to play regulary on geneva’s scene. First with "BolivAction" (humanitarian’s association) show (le bateau, hotel california,), then at " Café Bizzare’’ one thursday a month, with Yosh Bash(dancehall/reggae of course) and every thursday with their collective called "Skeud Diffusion" that also include Soul/Funk Dj’s and Salsa Dj’s.
Skeud diffusion is also Yosh SOunD’s Label’s name that is starting up now…….
A few years ago they give geneva’s "Piment Rouge" (Artamis) dancehall parties a rebirth… and established themeself at "Café Balmoral" (rrrespect Johann everytime ) for 1 year with weekly dancehall parties…
During the last years Yosh Sound made wicked dancehall-reggae parties (and is still doing…!) monthly at "Piment Rouge"(artamis), "Arcade" (cite universitaire), and regulary at "Chat noir" (Carouge)……alone or in combination with Geneva’s other Sounds, Dj’s, and friends (like Postman, Rude music, ras BTB, str8, unity, x-it, kill babylon, new g…) ….
Since 2005/06 Yosh Sound started to organize Live Concert (Original Uman (jan.06), Cali P (sept 06), Alozade (dec 06), Yaniss Odua (jan 07) and was called many times to do warm-up/after parties of other reggae groups from the swiss scene. They were also invited to play in Wallis (sierre, haut-nendaz) in Lausanne (cosy bay, docks) and in Nancy and Annemasse (France)…
Proud of 3 selectors, what make Yosh sound’s success is their various selections going from the reggae foundations to the newest dancehall tunes… through reggae-hiphop remixes…
Yosh sound’s selections never send the crowd to sleep…!!! and satisfy the music’s lovers whatever it is roots, new roots, hardcore ragga, or hip-hop remixes….!!!!!!
Yosh sound’s preference goes to party tune and release from the nineties (90’)… these ones always take a good place in Yosh sound’s selections…
Our singer ‘’Phat Cat’’ makes current apparitions during Yosh sound’s parties, to show his love and energy to the crowd… He recently released a promo CD that includes 12 songs

La première soirée de YOSH SOUND date de l'été 1997 avec une free party en plein air a la plage des Vengerons a Versoix, qui pour une première fut une réussite, mais le crew à commencer réelement son activité sans relache, 4 ans plus tard en 2001.
Le crew rejoint par d'autres DJ d'autre horizons musicaux, crait le collectif SKEUD DIFFUSION pour qui il représente la section Reggae / Dancehall.
En allant des selections foundation au dancehall actuel, en passant par le new roots, Yosh garde une préférence pour les production de fin 80-90 (période mythique qui a et qui continue à largement influencé leurs selections).
Depuis lors, le crew n'a cesser d'avancer, participations régulieres aux soirées de Bolivaction, avec Skeud Diffusion c'est établi comme résident le Jeudi au Café Bizarre, puis résident au Balmorale ( qui a malheureusement disparu depuis, Big Up a Johan, once again), organisation de soirée tout les mois au Piment Rouge à Artamis et à l'Arcade de la cité Universitaire, mais aussi régulièrement au Chat Noir, aux cotés de sounds et amis (dont Postman, Rude music, ras BTB, str8, unity, x-it, kill babylon, new g…) puis depuis 2006 Yosh se lance dans l'organisation de Live : Original Uman (13 janv 06) ; Cali P (16 sept 06) ; Alozade (16 dec 06) ; Yaniss Odua (5 janv 07). Yosh a aussi participer a pas mal de première partie de groupes issue de la scène locale, et on eu plaisir de jouer aussi au Cactus de Haute-Nendaz, Frison a Fribourg, Cosy-Bay a Lausanne, ou encore en France comme a Anemasse ou Nancy.
