year of the cow

The PastYear of the Cow started there musical conquest in 2004 with its original line up Vin ,Joe and Valentine Founded by the most uninfluenced musician Nelson Valentine, he began composing music with no particular genre in mind. Playing for their own personal expression they became a product of their own environment. As their chemistry evolved the music they were creating took on its own sound developing into something that couldn’t be classified. The band became extremely busy writing, touring and recording putting out 3 full length alums in 2 years. The first, Colour of Love then Lucky Cock followed by Sacred Hearts all of which were recorded w/ Joe C. Year of the cow has had a few changes in the past couple of years but Vin Nunes, the bass player and Nelson Valentine continued to write in spite of all the bureaucracy. In 2007 the bands lineup changed by bringing in an incredible drummer, Derek Brasseur. Year of the Cow still kept their integrity and energy from its origin but have no boundaries.
