while being roomates, kody and zack decided that they wanted to play in a band together. matt wanted to play bass in a band, so he brought his gear over to zack and kodys house. kody called torin, and said that it would be a good idea if he came over to "jam". he probably mentioned something about bringing over some beer as well. after a couple of practices/bbqs, they played a show. georgia had just returned from a trip over seas, and was at the show. after she mentioned that ybat was not the worst thing in the world, the band asked her to join. after playing shows for over a year, matt decided to leave the band to pursue other projects. soon after, georgia did the same. soon after that, josh wilson was asked through a text to join the band.
