X-CRETE

X-CRETE is a band of six musicians from Corpus Christi T.X. collaborating to make a style all of their own, with influences ranging from:Metal, hardcore, industrial, black metal, to death metal. Forming in 2002 X-CRETE has opened for such national acts as Kittie, Skinlab, It Dies Today, Bleed the Sky, The Agony Scene, Amon Amarth, Bile, Ankla, Calico System, Silent Civilians, and Diabolic just to name a few. In the beginning of 2003, X-CRETE released there first 2 song demo establishing them in the Texas metal scene. In the winter of 2003 the band focused on the construction of their own project studio designed by drummer Robert B. While recording various local acts X-CRETE went straight to work on creating a whole new set which spawned a 3 song demo in mid 2005. X-CRETE is set to release a 4 song ep late 2007/early 2008. Current lineup consists of Vocalist Peter Quarnstrom, Lead guitarist/backing vox Mike Perez, rhythm guitarist Joe Aguilar, bassist Jaime Aguilar, drummer Robert Beltran and Keyboardist /sampler/backing vox Elizabeth Massad. Stronger and more evolved, X-crete has and will continue to perform intense live shows and, compose music that defies the limitations of the metal genre.
