I believe it also has the capacity to produce the raw power of aggressive sounds and machine gun articulations. When I first started playing electric years ago, there was nothing out there that was cool, sleek and hip. This is why I designed instruments that make audiences jaws drop and provide me with a passionate and emotional experience as a musician. Through these instruments, I hope to share my vision for a more adventurous and musically satisfying experience on the violin. I hope they provide the same level of excitement for you."

Here at Wood Violins, we manufacture electric violins, violas and cellos that are so unique and special their design has been patented. We feel this gives us the right to broadcast their "coolness" as loudly as we possibly can. By making this statement, we are by no means saying that classical violin playing is not cool - we are merely trumpeting the existence of an alternative way of approaching this very special instrument. And although string players know what a gift it is to be able to express themselves through such amazing instruments, the general public up until recently (comparing it to instruments such as the electric guitar) has not viewed violin playing as "cool." Hence our slogan - "Finally it's cool to play the violin." The truth is that these are very cool instruments aimed at players who are anxious to explore new territory. We are the only electric violin company run by string players for string players, and we are very passionate and committed about providing highly specialized customer support to our clients both before and after your purchase.
