What up folks, it's me, Wizz Dumb, and I'm on Myspace for one reason. That reason is to simply promote my music and display an innovative array of melodic intervention and hard-hitting kick drums, crisp snares, etc. I consider myself a producer, not a beatmaker, for the fact that it started with musical instrumentation first before I even knew what a beat was. So in a sense I consider myself a musician because I can execute whatever it is I want within the realms of "Music". On the other hand, there is a difference between a Producer and a Beatmaker. To me a Beatmaker is someone who does his or her music as a way of financial escape, and not grasping the proper musical knowledge it takes to articulate themselves in the whole microcosm of "Music". However, a Producer is someone who shows a great deal of compassion toward his or her craft, as well as understanding all aspects of producing. A producer is also a great teacher, coach, mentor, etc. A producer could care less about the money he or she is receiving for their works, but rather the love for their music as a whole and the quality of it's sound. If your in the music industry strictly for a couple of royalty checks and you know literally nothing about music and your just getting by, I'M SORRY, YOUR A BEATMAKER BUDDY.

When I started I simply wanted to just make beats, but the music was in me, so it became a deeper love than just beats. The music business if not the most then is one of the most competitive markets to be involved in. I'm surprised producers don't beef with beats like rappers do with rhymes, kinda make you think huh, especially since they get payed more, ( hummmm), just a thought though.

In the end, this is all entertainment, and theres nothing wrong with a little competition you know, but if someone tries to beat battle me, ha ha, brang it on. LOLATWTTB. (-------laughin' out loud all the way to the bank.):-)=) -Wizz Dumb
