-ALBUM REVIEWS/PRESS QUOTES (for more reviews and to see these in full see our blog)

"One of the strongest debuts I have heard so far this year. This is the start of something big, very heavy and unique. 10/10" -MonkeyFeeshMusic.com

"An excellent album for those who are seeking a more intelligent kind of metal." -Fuse Magazine

"literally this is like stumbling across George's marvellous medicine. It really is that vast. 'Are they any cop?' I hear you yell, and the answer frankly is yes." -CornwallRock.com

"Mellow one moment and roaring in your face the next and about as unpredictable as steering a supermarket trolley. I'm sure the labels will be sniffing around Wishlist very soon indeed" -live4metal.com

"Screechy growls and howls; melodic singing; thrashy riffs, discordant proto-death lead flourishes and harmonic pinches; chunky hardcore passages, punky chord-work and some moments of straight-up rock. a smorgasbord of the more lairy and aggressive guitar styles of the last three decades stirred up into a big metallic morass. There's plenty of talent on display, and no shortage of ideas and innovative arrangements" -subba-cultcha.com

"Dense, metallic thumpathons littered with constant, inventive strolls onto all kinds of other musical terrain with oodles of dark and thoroughly miffed lyrical imagery" -24-7 Magazine

| Wishlist formed in February 2002, with the goal of creating intelligent,

varied and relevant music without simply following the current musical

trends. An intense, metallic hard rock outfit, Wishlist incorporates all

aspects of modern and old-school rock music without sounding quite like any

other band out there |

| Wishlist places great importance in The Riff, giving songs a technical edge

whilst also making each song memorable and individual - while one song may

sound completely different from the next, an overall cohesiveness ensures

that the music always sounds like the work of one band. Eschewing traditional

verse-chorus-verse song structures, the listener never knows quite what to

expect next - placid yet intricate interludes erupt into pure

foaming-mouthed vitriol and rapid-fire double bass drumming. soaring,

emotional melodic vocal harmonies spar with atypical, rhythmic bass lines

and dextrous, idiosyncratic riffing. the songs constantly surprise and

excite, yet maintain a strong, melodic and memorable hook |

| Debut album "Failure Is Not An Option", recorded earlier this year at PMC studios, successfully harnesses the raw energy and ceaseless

inventiveness of their live performances, possessing a sound much bigger

than a four piece band should be capable of. Emotional and socio-political

lyrical content adds an extra layer of depth to the already multi textured

and dynamic music on show |

| With a number of successful live performances under their belt including

the

high profile and popular Maker Festival, plus support slots with such

diverse upcoming

bands as The Blueprint, Architects, Midasuno, Byzantine and Jetplane Landing and several

local headline slots, Wishlist comfortably fits on any gig line-up |

| Wishlist 2008 is ready to accept new challenges and rise to the next level.
