Wind & Brackets. One sings, two guitar and hit keys, one slaps bass, one hits drums. We do this together and we like the sound that happens. Some other people we know said they like the sound that comes out as well so we kept doing it. We've been doing it for longer than a little while

National and international supports = The Stranglers, Art Brut, The Cops, Sparkadia. etc



We released our first 2 track AA Side single digitally around the world. The title track of the AA Side, Nu Nu (Za Za) (pretty shit), but was added to the playlist on Triple J and also received airplay on influential Los Angeles radio KCRW and Indie 103.1fm. The band was also featured as part of a Triple J Unearthed ABC TV special in late 2007 - nice.



January 2008 - Wind & Brackets went to Applewood Studios. "Hey Magoo, what's up?"."Not much guys, I hear you use keys now. Awesome. Now let's lay this shit down!". So ‘Fire in the Ocean’ was born, hit stores like JB Hi-fi through great distributors like MGM and went black like the inside of a coffin on a moonless night. ‘Break the Glass’ = added to Triple J radio nationally and continues to be played on that sometimes and on awesome stations like 4ZzZ and other community radio.



I really dig this song - w&b's ep is really strong, but this is a standout. damn brisbane keeps pumping out the gold at the moment… Nick Findlay, triple j - Wow. thanks Nick Findlay!
