WILLSCHREY

To synthesize the substrates of musical topoi of post-modern subcultural identities as Hardcore, Metal and Screamo, to aesthetically reorganize their artificial characteristics in the form of new tonal constructions and therefor taking the nimbus of their by socially assimilation defused explosive force. To make it short: to again honor the postulate of juvenile separation in the the form of an aesthetic counterdraft in the form of fresh mucial articulation, unconsumed artistic canalization - this is the aim of WILLSCHREY!



Still in the phase of formation, Willschrey recorded their first demo in March/April 2004, selling about 200 copies in the first few months. Since October 2004 the band performes in it's current line-up.



Musically, Willschrey combines swedish-style metalriffs, hardcore-ish moshparts and emotional vocals, all spiced up with some electronics now and then. Since October 2004 Willschrey shared the stage with bands as Napalm Death, Heaven Shall Burn, As We Fight or Neaera. In october 2005 Willschrey got signed to myfavouritetoy records and released its debut "Claiming back the Heavenly Agenda" in march 2006.
