There's only so much of this story that needs to be told. The rest will lurk in shadows, where it belongs. The facts of the case are what follows.

When pretty Scareifina, the peculiar girl with the alabaster skin and babydoll dresses, met devilish rock hero LuCi and his big sleazy guitars, something quite wicked happened. Scarefina was living in a haunted church in New Jersey at the time, flirting with madness and dancing with the dead. LuCi had just left the harrowing, be-horned world of Norwegian black metal, where he played in the legendary band Ancient. Black metal is exciting stuff, filled with wild beasts and monstrous visions, but it leaves no room for rock n' roll, and our man LuCi is nothing, if not rock n' roll.

So Luci and Scareifina met. Where is not important. What is important is that they went to a very wicked carnival together, where they found two sinister characters named MarrCello and MiZari. One played the drums, the other bass, and although they were planning to stow away on a luxury liner to Romania, they chose instead to join Luci and Scareifina on their journey into the heart of darkness. And that's how it happened. They named themselves Wicked Little Dolls, because that's exactly what they are.

Soon they were haunting hallowed halls all over New York City, including CBGB's and all the rest. They were captivating, enchanting, bewitching. Scareifina's considerable beauty was matched only by her remarkable voice, a beguiling chirp that drips with sex one minute and with sticky blood the next. Her band was a wall of diamond-hard rock accented with sparkling glam and the snarl of classic punk. The kids showed up in droves, emulating their heroes in stripey tights and zombie-bloodbath t-shirts. The Wicked Little Dolls had escaped the toybox and were taking over Manhattan. What was next? The world, of course.

June 6th, 2006 rolled around, and it was time for an album. Conceived in an asylum and recorded in a haunted house, Wicked Little Dolls is the perfect introduction to WLD's weird, wicked world. Peppered with luscious death-glitter gems like "Terrible Toys" and "Dolls Gone Mad", this bubbling stew of movie shock value, stack-attack glam rock, and hi-fi sci-fi goth n' roll is like your own personal bubblegum hell, a deliciously twisted funhouse ride through the bizarre minds of Scarefina and LuCi. Discerning fiends everywhere took notice, and the virus is spreading, rapidly and out of control. Already Wicked Little Dolls have appeared on compilations from Classic Rock and Brave Words, Bloody Knuckle magazines, and that's just the beginning. 2007 promises more shows, more outrage, more everything.

If you think toys can't hurt you, then you haven't met the Wicked Little Dolls.
