Introducing "WHIP MONTEZ" (born Wanda Altagracia Almonte) a Dominican fem-cee reppin Brooklyn's Red Hook Housing Projects. Whip is currently recording her first album comprised of a variety of hip-hop (English/Spanish) tracks. Her highly anticipated debut album titled "Cant Nobody Whip Montez" is due for release in 2007 and contains bangers like "Welcome the Diva" where she clearly sets herself apart from the typical "Queen of New York" tryna-bees "I'm a DIVA. You don't have to look hard to spit hard Most of these Broads come off hard as niggas. I'm classy, maybe even prissy but still from the hood. I've been thru a lot of shit, and I've dealt with my share of drama, beef and grimmy shit that we all can relate to My story may be the same, just told differently". She deals with real topics from abortion, rape, even a short stay in a County jail. "I think a lot of times people claim to be different but in actuality we are all the same. We are all products of our environment But it's the lyrical content and the way you deliver your swag that counts for something."

2004 was a great year for Whip Montez, she was featured on alongside the Green-Eyed Bandit, Erick Sermon and one of Brooklyns finest MCs Talib Kweli. The three collaborated on a track called "Chillin" off Sermon's last album "Chilltown, NY". It wasn't long after Montez penned her verse that Sermon called on Talib to complete the track with a verse of his own. "It was an honor to be in the booth with a hip-hop legend, and Talib it was truly a memorable experience, one that I will cherish for a long time." With a good number of showcases and college shows, she has open up for notable artist like; 112, Slum Village and the Infamous MOBB DEEP to name a few. This has defiantly helped her expand her fan base and create a buzz for her.

"I've paid my dues, I've developed my skills I'm ready". No stranger to this game Whip understands mastering her craft takes time and practice. "The thing is, I don't want to be signed and shelved. I want to drop immediately and finding a good home isn't easy I think my patience will go a long way for me in the end. I am beginning to understand myself more and more I don't have plans of stopping any time soon so. Be patient and take the ride with me, ya dig? Real Bitches do real things and Cant Nobody Whip Montez"
