Born and raised in Haiti, Power Surge is known to be one of the most respected record producers in the Haitian market and a musical force not to be reckoned with. Known for producing Michael Benjamin’s hit single “IM LOVING MY LIFE” and the co-producer of “NAP KITEL POU YO” feat. Black Dada, who is airing at a consistence of 4 to 5 times a day on more then 10 stations in Port-au-Prince, and the producer of "Flyin" feat. Olivier Duret and himself, "PA RET SOU LI" by ATON feat. Dj Khaled which featured on the cover of Ticket Magazine in August 2009, which made Power Surge the 1st HipHop Producer to appear on the front cover of Ticket Magazine twice in one month. And also being the first HipHop/Urban Music producer working with one of the biggest Haitian bands, T VICE on the song “Toi et Moi”, who is already being considered by many websites to being the song of the album "WELCOME TO HAITI", for helping a Haitian band cross over to a different market.
Recently putting out a single with Trick Daddy, Billy Blue (Konvict/Mosley/Interscope) and Brisco (Cash Money/Young Money/Universal), on the album “LIVE FROM THE 305” from DJ Khaled of We THE BEST MUSIC and Def Jam & E Class of Poe Boy with E1 (formerly KOCH Records) distribution, Power Surge is now officially known as to being apart of the Heavy Hitters of South Florida's production scene.
Power Surge also has a song on rotation on major radio stations in the USA with SHIFTA, one of the hottest Jamaican artist out of Miami, featuring billboard chart topping artist FLO RIDA of Atlantic Records/Poe Boy. Also working with other A list celebrities in the US such as RICK ROSS, DJ KHALED, TRICK DADDY, BENZINO, RAY J, NOREAGA amongst others and closely working with record labels such as Sony Records, Atlantic Records, Def Jam Records, Interscope Records, Cash Money Records, KONVICT MUSIC (Akon and T Pain), Mosley Music (Timbaland) etc…) Power Surge is in a great position to represent the image of a new Haitian vision to the international elite as he has done by performing for one month in China alongside the founder and member of The Black Eyed Peas, Dj Motivate.
