Wendy.K is a well-timed Accident of the “do it yourself” Philosophy.
The band is composed of Tomaz Lenz and Aureo Gandur, it began in 1998, but it was in 2002, that the band began to take shape. Two channels, the need to make music and two subsequent EPs released.
Currently the band is concluding its first album. For this to happen, the band had to go to Austria. A trip that was originally planned for two and a half months, but turned into à nine month stay instead. After many shows played; throughout the country, Vienna became a new home for Wendy .k
The album “14 Lies” ; produced by Andreas Fennes - whats that Noise Studios , affiliated with Crater8Records; forecasts its release Late 2010.
Recently Wendy. K returned to Brazil, involving themselves in other projects and in a semi-acoustic Forum; recording another EP with denser songs, Featuring a version of David Bowie’s Space Oddity. The EP is called “ Maze” and is projected for release on DVD this year.
Along with the “Varandistas” project, Which unites Wendy.k And seven other Brazilian Artists.
