Wendisue

Born one of few minorities in the small town of Woburn, Massachusetts, Wendisue began her journey looking within. Having been the youngest of four children to two blind parents, Wendisue quickly learned that insight was worth far more than anything her eyes could ever see. With poverty and constant uncertainty as her childhood reality, it wasn’t long before she began writing to express the life that was in her through poetry and short stories until adulthood when music became her outlet of choice.
After getting her feet wet in the music industry as a session vocalist, Wendisue set her sights on sharing some of her own music with the world. That desire was born in the form of her EP, HomeGrown on which she produced and recorded the majority of in her home studio that she built from the ground up. After performing with her band in and around the Los Angeles area Wendisue set out on a world tour with the Rock-N-Roll group, INXS. While it was originally intended to be a quick 6-week gig, it turned out to be a 2-year adventure that would change her life.
While traveling the world, Wendisue began to recognize that, despite her career success and a life filled with excitement, the open wounds of her childhood were intoxicating her. As a result of this realization, she began, endured and was renewed through the much-needed process of healing. It is with that same love and awareness that she continues to create both on and off stage.
In addition to her numerous studio performances with the likes of L.A.’s D.J. Anthony Valadez, you can see Wendisue singing live nationally and internationally in both solo and collaborative projects with various artists including, INXS as their solo background singer, as well as performing with symphony orchestras across the country with her father, Ellis Hall.
