"Weight of the Crown is a young band from Pennsylvania that has a lot more heart, dedication, and conviction than their older predecessors who have fallen off and seem to find nothing good about the hardcore of today's world. and most of their peers who pretend to support the scene by posting on message boards telling stories of how "about it" they really are but you never see them anywhere supporting real hardcore bands. What i'm trying to say here is that this band is 100% real hardcore from real hardcore kids: telling their stories through their music and their lyrics about shit they really know about and have really experienced without trying to come off like some wild-ass tough guy band."

"I've been going to shows for thirteen years now and rarely do I get excited about new/younger bands or their releases. Everything just seems so watered down lately. Weight Of The Crown gives me hope that the future may be brighter than I thought.

Not only have I seen these guys mature as a band, but as people too. The new cd blows away the demo. Awesome recording, crisp guitars, great drumming and good vocals. People need to wake up and stop sleeping on this band. They are going to be the next big thing and I'm glad they're kids that respect the scene and are ready to give back. The future looks very promising for Weight Of The Crown and central pennsylvania."

- Justin (Before I Hang)

"Thank fucking god this band exists, cause it's the breath of fresh air that central PA has needed for years. Heavy, moshy hardcore that just makes you kind of want to break stuff.and that's fine by me. WOTC is picking up where bands like Shattered Realm left off a few years back.playing simple but powerful hardcore that is pretty user friendly and doesn't take an elitist to like. Definitely good at what they are doing and with any luck these guys will keep at it for awhile. The Pennsylvania hardcore scene has a long legacy of sincerity and these guys seem to be the next installment that our great state has to offer."
