Mayflies

the mayflies were formed in 2002 in stavanger, norway by lead singer, erik. guitar maestro oly rider joined, helping creating the great mayflies sound. the two latest additions are bass player john and drummer chris - all of them make up the fab four, locally known as the mayflies.



dressed in tweed and twang, and with their feet delicately placed in a delicious indie rock salad, the mayflies are inspired by good old british psychedelia, spaghettisauce and eighties horror movies. very deliberate in their choice of style, they reek of rocknroll elegance both on-stage and off-stage. it has been said that they never play the same show twice, and after a trip to china, playing for 20.000 people at the midi music festival, they have more than proven their ability to satisfy hungry music lovers anywhere. yes - these mayflies love to play, and theyre not afraid to show it to you.
