Futuro

Futuro are a 3 peice band from Glasgow (and Dundee). In 2006/07 we did a ton of stuff that was awesome, including gigging with Fratetllis, The Rakes, The Fallout Trust, Brendan Benson (Racontuers), T in the Park, and more. We shipped 1000's of CD's and DVD's. It was great, but it all fell apart when we relied on 'industry types' to help us co-ordinate a much more adventurous release (the singles and associated album). People pulled out at the last minute, re-shuffled plans, or were generally non-commital. Then family, work commitments and a general lack of enthusiasm for the industry at large kicked in.



Anyway, thats what happened. We toyed with doing more stuff and finished recording the majority of the album, but never done anything with it. We're now thinking about doing something with it. No gigs (probably), no industry nonsense, just (hopefully) good music.



Part of this has been sparked by our inclusion on the just-released game APB: All Points Bulletin, a super-sweet MMO Action Game. Our single-to-be 'Aramis' is used as part of the soundtrack. Awesome.
