Wasted

Wasted are a HARD WORKING rocking band WHO WRITE AND PLAY THEIR OWN MATERIAL. Wasted also put their own stamp on a number of well chosen covers on occasion (such as on the country rock side the Dixie Chicks) all re vamped and made our own, variety is the spice of life they say so we dare to be different in our song writing and with the covers we perform.Wasted have truly come of age 21 years out there in 2010 and still gigging. We just LOVE TO PLAY its all about good times.
The band has a wide repertoire predominately Americana style country/folk rock with a twist . Wasted entertain with Raucous revelling energy in their set, keeping the interest going throughout their performance.
Wasted have played Rock in the Priory Festival and Rock at the Castle Festival Hertford They have also played for the Strange Place club and for the Marquee in Hertford before its sad demise and for The Corn Exchange Hertford .We have had great support from everyone and from these venues. IN 2009 playing for TRASHVILLE at the Cross Kings London and continue to write and record our own material. Not yet succumbed into becoming purely a covers band as so many more mature bands do, WASTED carry on working hard to get out there and enjoy the experience.Taking some risks and TAKING IT SERIOUSLY NOW NOT JUST TAKING IT AS IT COMES ANY LONGER WASTED were the main support for the Legendary 60's band THE ANIMALS on Sat 16Th Feb 2008 when we played in Ware, Hertfordshire as part of there European tour. It was a great night and a privilege to play with the likes of Mick Gallagher also of the BLOCKHEADS, John Steel, Peter Barton and John Williamson.
A GREAT NIGHT WAS HAD BY ALL. We have also supported Miles Hunt from, the Wonderstuff along with Divided opinions.
2010 see WASTED Play Club 85 supporting the TRAILER TRASH ORCHESTRA for their album launch along with CC Smugglers Finding our feet as a four piece band and with EXCELLENT FEEDBACK from our audience to say it has made a cracking difference to our style of playing and the music we love to play. Rocking Americana country sounds with a twist.
Booking gigs for Friday Saturdays Sundays and festival dates for 2010/11 NOW TAKING THINGS MORE SERIOUSLY BEING IN OUR 21ST YEAR AND STILL OUT THERE GIGGING SUPPORTING SOME OF THE BEST. IN THE WORDS OF THE SONG BRING IT ON!!!!!
