Bob Dylan said, "An artist always has to be in a state of becoming." We couldn't agree more. After Wasabi was voted Best Jam/Improv Act in the 2007 Westword Music Showcase, and best Jamband in 2008 and 2009 by Fort Collins Music Association, the members of Wasabi separated with drummer Marshall Van Stone and became THE SWITCH. Brian Collins (formerly keyboards, vocals) made THE SWITCH to the drums, and a four-piece, guitar-driven no-frills rock-and-roll band was born. Drawing from the diverse sounds of Rolling Stones, Blind Melon, My Morning Jacket, and the Black Keys, THE SWITCH is working to turn on just about everyone with an uplifting jolt of modern Rock and Roll.
