Hay muchas cosas que con el paso del tiempo se desgastan, se desmontan,
se corroen o simplemente se rompen: la cara, los grupos, los amplis, las baquetas, el coche, los huesos. A veces mola, y te ries. Otras, no tanto y en lo ltimo que piensas es precisamente en reirte.
WALLRIDE, tras 10 anyos de carrera y tras 4 discos ya, si hay algo que han aprendido es a reirse de si mismos si toca, y a saber que estan aqui para hacer musica, para seguir guinyandole el ojo cada vez que se ponen a componer a todos sus grupos favoritos: a esos Dag Nasty, Gorilla Biscuits, All, CIV, 7 Seconds, Agnostic Front, Descendents y muchos otros que les siguen mirando y animando desde las carpetas de sus discos. Con admiracion y respeto, pero sin rubor ni sonrojo.

As time marches on, many things eventually get worn out, taken apart, corroded or simply broken down: amps, bands, drumsticks, cars, bones. Sometimes, its funny, and you laugh at it. But, sometimes, it is not, and laughing at it is precisely the last thing one thinks of.
If theres something WALLRIDE have learned, after 10 years of career and after 4 records, is to laugh at themselves -if thats the case- and to know that they are here to keep on blinking the eye, every time the sit down to write songs, to all their favorite bands: to those Dag Nasty, Gorilla Biscuits, All, CIV, 7 Seconds, Agnostic Front, Descendents and many others that still look at and keep encouraging them from the sleeves of their records. With respect and admiration, but not flushing nor blushing.
