Wali Ali Jr is no stranger to the music business. He made his first track at the age of 13 and has been doing it ever since. His career as a GHOST PRODUCER started when he sold a track to the late Gerald Le Vert which was placed on the group SILK's CD in 1993 called "Dont Keep Me Waiting". In 1995 Wali went on a casting call for the famous Coca Cola commercial which launched the career of Tyrese Gibson. Wali composed and wrote the music for the track playing under Tyrese’s voice. That track became Wali’s big break.



From 1995 to present Wali’s credits include being a Ghost producer for Death Row Records, where he began selling his tracks and continued on to production. He has also written, composed, produced title tracks for various artists which include: Something for the People, Coolio, Trina and Tamara Powell, Jesse Powell, YNV, Erica Yancey, Floetry, Mystic, Black Robb, Blackstreet, and Janet Jackson. He has produced remixes for artists including; Bobby Brown, Tamia for Qwest Records and MCA, The Alkaholiks, L.V., and Tyrese Gibson. He has obtained credits on several collaboration projects including, production collaborations with Billy Moss, DJ Pooh production camps, Laney Stewart, and Tricky. Also, Wali in his perfection of the “talk box” allowed him to work on the “Still More Bounce”, Roger Troutman Tribute Album project, released in 2002 with WolfPac Records and Battlecat. Currently, Wali is involved with a production team by the name of the Frontline Boyz which include the talents of producers GX and Seige. Prior to this, he was involved with The Underdogs, which includes production talents of Harvey Mason, Damon Thomas, and Erick Dawkins, and Tony Dixion. The Frontline Boyz' latest projects include: Tyrese's "Alter Ego" album, and upcoming projects with Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes and TGT, as well as, songs being placed on upcoming albums by Usher, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, and more to come.



Wali continues to be recognized as one of the up and coming stars of the entertainment industry. Being involved in creating the universal language of music has increased Wali’s passion for being a part of a worldwide industry, one which has produced some of the most world renowned talents in the country. His long struggle and ability to strive for excellence has made him realize that hard work and determination are necessary tools for success. All the while, Wali remains a humble soul.
