Born in 1992 , WA BMG 44 means "all together for the same cause". 44 stands for the year french government executed senegalese soldiers who fought for France during second world war and were asking for their pay.

WA BMG 44 (LYRICAL CEDDO & BABACAR) is one of the biggest rap groups in Senegal. They rap in WOLOV (local language) and french.

They met rapper/producer SMIMOOZ from Belgium in 2002 during a trip to Brussels organised by cultural center Jacques Gueux based in Brussels.They recorded together in 2003 a compilation "BXL-DAKAR des millions de mikes à parcourir."featuring rappers from Brussels like PASCO , VAGABOND , UMAN , PITCHO , LADY N & CATSEYES and group "P-FROISS" from Dakar.

In 2004 WA BMG & SMIMOOZ recorded an album together that's been released in Senegal only.They ended up Best single and Best album at the "Senegal HipHop Awards 2005". More stuff is comin' so watch out buddies.
