Budapest based downtempo-lounge-world beat-break-hip-hop-dub project of Nafta, Suefo and Parizs.
Their songs have appeared on international compilations like Trip-Hop Classics by Kid Loco (Wagram), Hi-Fidelity Lounge (Guidance Records), Sunset Cafe (Chameleon Records), White Martini (Water Music), Monte La Rue's Deluxe (United), Electro Swing + Electro Swing Fever (Wagram), Jazz & Milk Breaks (Jazz&Milk), etc
They’ve produced remixes for Erik Sumo (Pulver Records), [dunkelbunt] (Chat Chapeu), Flevans (Tru Thoughts), Eastenders (Poets Club), Orient Expressions (Poets Club), Dusty (Jazz&Milk), Mash & Munkee (Jack To Phono) and have recently worked on remixes for Jon Kennedy (Organik) and The Qualitons (Tramp).
Suefo produced two exclusive mp3 compilations for the UPC Chello internet company entitled Chellotronica vol. 1-2. These compilations contain tracks from Jon Kennedy, The Frank Popp Ensemble, Eastenders/!DelaDap, Deela, Montefiori Cocktail, Saint Privat, Captain Planet, Erik Sumo and a handful of new Hungarian talents from the freestyle scene. Suefo also produced a compilation/mix of Hungarian tracks. These form part of the extra content of the DVD film called Binji, which will be released soon through Chameleon Records.
As Vono Box they also produced two CD compilations for Tilos Radio FM 90.3 entitled Tilos Maraton 2006 and 2010.
Nafta & Suefo have played with international artists like Ursula 1000, Montefiori Cocktail, Jon Kennedy, Senor Coconut, Nouvelle Vague, Fatima Spar und die Freedom Fries, Mau Mau, Gilles Peterson, Asian Dub Foundation, Saint Privat, Waldeck, DJ DRM, DJ Shepdog, Buscemi, Kulturni Program, Jack To Phono, M.O.C. Paoli, Tosca, DJ Shir Khan, Soundhog, TY, Louie Austen, Sophie Rimheden, Pan Sonic, Stephane Pompougnac, Ed Royal, Fat Camp, Ancient Astronauts, Howie B., Flevans, Dusty, Kid Loco, Rob Luis, etc. mostly in Budapest, but occasionally at the clubs of London, Beograd, Amsterdam, Vienna, Paris and Milano.
They run a weekly radio show at the legendary Tilos Radio FM 90.3 in Budapest on every Thursday afternoon (http://www.tilos.hu) and a webzine (http://www.manamana.hu) with record reviews and interviews. If you’re interested in producing a feature be sure to contact these guys!
