Formed in the summer of 2003, VladamiR is anything but conventional. With an explosive and energetic sound, VladamiR combines many genres of music into an entertainment package that must be heard and see to believe. Hailing from Fort Worth Texas, the group consists of middle school friends John LaRosa and Jamal Pedescleaux. Each member brings to the table their own musical influences consisting of rock, punk, rap, r&b, hip hop, jazz, and metal, among others. Lyrically the band motivates with true tales of growing up, persevering through hard times, and fighting for what you believe in. Having quickly become a local favorite with an exhilarating live show, the trio now has their focus set to entertaining on a larger scale. The band has begun to gain the attention of national acts, opening for bands such as The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Grammy Award winners Ok Go.

HistoryAfter a few set backs and line up changes the band is still incomplete.VladamiR from its conception was Cameron Teague (guitar, voice), Jumal kawsara (bass), Jamal Pedescleaux (drums, rap), and John LaRosa (voice, guitar). After Jumal and Cameron left, the band lay on the edge of extinction. Another friend Brandon Shupe was welcomed into the group. A guitarist turned bassist, he lasted several months before other obligations became too overwhelming and left in 2005. After months of searching and finding nothing the guys convinced the Brad to join. He lasted 4 years. The band has had professional management which landed them a trip to sunny California to record with punk rock legend Greg Hetson of Bad Religion in 2005. After a dispute with their management VladamiR parted ways with the company and began searching out a new manager. Since being independent, VladamiR has played with bands such as The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Grammy award winning artist Ok Go. In July of 2009, VladamiR signed with industry renowned HM Live and Neil Sheehan from Ohio. The band is very excited to be in the presence of people who care about the future of their career.

The story of our name

You wanna know the truth? We are constantly asked "Where did you get the name VladamiR from?" Often times we are a little embarrassed to tell so we make up a story like "Oh didn't you know, that's that one dude that everyone talks about" Though true, very boring. So here's the REAL story. There is a embarrassing website which will remain nameless, we'll call it X.com. X.com allows users to submit photos of beautiful and sometimes (un-non-anti-opposite-fugly)beautiful women very scantly clad. Sometimes doing very strange things if you get my drift (hint hint, shove shove). Anyway, these users do not use their real names, rather they use a pseudonym. One of the contributors name was none other than, yep, Vladamir. So there you go, Vladamir was taken from a porn site, I mean uuuhh, some other very family oriented friendly kid safe website which definitely has no porn whatsoever, not even a nipple slip. I promise.

Ever Heard of Patrick Stephens? We'll he's pretty much at the top of his game in the sport bike world. He has been featured in several magazines and has released countless DVD's. His latest release "Patrick Stephens Freestyle Part 4: Keepin it Street" contains two of our songs. We are very proud to be a part of his video and encourage you all to get your hands on a copy.
