DUST

Dust formed in early 2008.The band was the brain child of Franny Griffiths former Space keyboard player, songwriter, Jamie Murphy former guitarist singer songwriter & Vince Hagen ex singer/songwriter of Liverpool band Out There
After leaving Space in 2003 Jamie and Franny went there separate ways and both made the decision to take a well earned break from the music business after spending nearly 12 years together.
First to be brought on board was Vince, songwriter and guitarist who Jamie & Franny both knew from the Liverpool music scene. They took a few months writing and recording in Franny's tree house & it was this unorthodox way of recording that gave them the status of one of the most original sounding bands to emerge for a long time. The band was completed when they recruited there drummer Vini Jamison.
By June 2009 Dust was rehearsed up & ready for their eagerly awaited first gig which took place on 24th July at the o2 Academy in Liverpool.
In the short time the band have been together they have generated a massive amount of interest and curiosity in the music industry, mostly through there MySpace website.
The future is looking very bright for Dust, their songs and sound are more or less impossible to pigeon hole, they really are unlike any band you've heard before but at the same time they sound so strangely familiar!! So people watch this Space.and put your trust in Dust!
