Villn Recordz is the Midwest Mouth Piece. “Stele” and his brother “KC” (The General) founded this movement. These two give Villn Recordz its strong foundation. They take pride in its music and their members. They have traveled a long and rocky road. Whenever a challenge arises, they know that if they focus on the music, a solution is close at hand.
Each artist at Villn Recordz has passion. You can hear it in their unique style and delivery. They are dedicated to the craft of writing, recording and performing.
Villn Recordz is an original, but they are not without influence. Their inspirations include: N.W.A, Geto-Boys, Tu Pac, E-40, Jay-Z, Slick Rick, Damon Dash and P-Diddy.
The Artists at Villn Recordz are constantly on stage in Twin Cities venues such as: Soul City Supper Club, Escape, Quest, Arnellas, Foxy, Playmakers, Sharxx,Foundation,
Poodle Club,4th Street,200 Club, Red Sea and more.
Villn Recordz has garnered rotation on regional and national radio stations such as: Minneapolis KMOJ 89.9, B-96 96.3, Kansas City 103.3, Moorhead 105.9, California 88.7.
“Thiz Game of Ourz” is their full-length debut. It is preceded by 2 EPs “Hustling So Long” and “N Here”. The music is powerful, uplifting and visionary. Their creative sound leaves no question that Hip-Hop is firmly established in their hearts.
