Details are scarce on this mysterious group, but legend has it that in ancient times, when The Vampire Squid ruled supreme over his cephalopod bretheren, there rose a brilliantly jeweled and many splendored palace in the center of the Tethys Sea. Descended from an ancient and powerful race of spacefaring entities, the cephalopods were the masters of a puny two-legged race:humans. After Eons of bloody war, the humans managed to pull The Vampire Squid from power, and banished them and their cohorts to the depths.
