German beer for breakfast rockers V8 WANKERS will release their now sixth album "Iron Crossroads" worldwide through Steamhammer / SPV. The album was produced by Tommy Newton (well known for his work with Bands like Helloween, Terry Hoax, Guano Apes, UFO and many others) and the band sounds better and fresher than ever before. Big-Blog-Motor Rock at it's best.
V8 WANKERS - The story so far:
2000 Founding of the band in Offenbach / Germany
2001 First live shows with Skew Siskin and Rose Tattoo.
2002 Release of the debut album „Blown Action Rock". Extensive Touring incl. a show on the main stage of „Bizarre Festival" together w. Turbonegro. A show in Croatia where the band shared stages with Motörhead.
2003 Release of the second album „Automotive Rampage". Shows with Rose Tattoo and a appearance at Germanys famous Wacken Open Air.
2004 Re-release of "Blown Action Rock" incl. one Bonustrack.
Shows with Gluecifer, D.R.I., The Bones, The Meteors and many others
2005 Release of the third longplayer „The Demon Tweak" produced by Uwe Lulis.
Europetour with Rose Tattoo and countless Clubshows.
2006 The band plays more than 120 live shows in Europe.
2007 Release of the forth album „Hell On Wheels". On Tour with W.A.S.P.
2008 Again countless shows including support for Girlschools 30th Anniversary Tour.
2009 With Full Force Festival and touring with Peter & The Testube Babies
2010 Release of the fifth longplayer „Foxtail Testemonial" again produced by Uwe Lulis. 10th Anniversary of the band. Several live shows.
2011 The band signs a worldwide deal with SPV. The sixth album „Iron Crossroads", produced by Tommy Newton will be released
