Urban World Management is the brainchild of Tim Wilson and Roberta Ryan. We are a fully functional management company that has the ability and talent to move and work like a label for the artists we represent. We have been in business for over 5 years gaining prominence from managing groups such as "Young and Da Restless, Ms. Chambers and Robert Johnson nationally to indie success. Currently our roster includes Auburn (Beluga heights/Warner Bros.), Chris Lawrence (Divine Mill/The Clutch), Ellis One (Divine Mill/Dauman Music Universal Republic), Dj Youngstar (club, radio artist DJ), Elijah Shaw (ICON protective Svc.), Just Live (Think,Think,Think), Buss One, Will Ways Music Group, The Teks and Nu Born Productions. In addition we currently do consulting for television via Ashley McCabe (rocker/reality show) and we are the creator and writers for the upcoming "Sweet Rush" show which will be coming to a network very soon. Our goal is simple we want to provide our artists with every opportunity to win whether its through music, television, movies, product endorsements etc our goal is to work harder than the next for our clients well being and most importantly their longevity.
~AUBURN~
Auburn Williams is a multi talented singer/songwriter who is the "queen of myspace" and the "Princess of Beluga Heights". Having gained a following via myspace nationally she soon released an independent album called "Same Giirl" through a local indie label, FS Music, which gained her more attention and subsequently landed her a slot on the 2007 Keyshia Cole tour alongside J.Holiday and Ray Lavender to rave reviews. This exposure brought her to the attention of BET's Stephen Hill who as a supporter and mentor has helped her to stay on the national radar bringing her to the attention of numerous major labels including her current Warner Bros. home. Continuing to gain steam off her tour performances and buzz she came to the attention of platinum producer Jonathan "JR" Rotem and his team of Tommy Rotem and Zach Katz who upon meeting her and seeing what all the fuss was about signed her to their Beluga Heights imprint joining Sean Kingston, Jason Darulo, Mann and others to form one of the most talented rosters in the business. Currently she is prepping her first major label release for Warner Bros. led by her first single "She's Happy" coming soon.
~Chris Lawrence~
Chris is the multi talented singer/song writer/musician who has gained a following via the infamous Minneapolis bar circuit which has ultimately prepared him for the national stage and spotlight. Via Urban World Mgt. Chris was brought to the attention of multi platinum super producer Kay Gee (Naughty by Nature, Next, Jaheim) who immediately upon hearing him signed him to Divine Mill and enlisted well known industry vets Belewa Muhammad and Ezekiel Lewis, "The Clutch", to help him create what is currently one of the most anticipated projects upcoming. Chris' soulful voice and incredible musicianship will definitely put him in a class of his own and in the forefront of the next wave of popular music. Currently he is in the studio prepping his first national release which will is due out in early 2010.
~Ellis One~
Ellis One gained noterity as performers on the short lived "Americas Next Top Pop Group" on MTV. Because of that show they gained the attention of CBS' "Late Show" host Craig Ferguerson who put them on his stage for an impromptu performance that put the group on the national radar and soon landed them a major production deal and subsequently a label deal via Divine Mill/Dauman Music/Universal Republic. The groups incredible vocal talents and song writing ability will definitely set the trio apart from their peers in he "Pop" genre. Their first single "The Shower Song" is currently buzzing at radio and clubs nationally and promises to set them up as "Americas Next Top Boy Band" to reckon with.
~DJ Young Star~
The youngest deejay in charge (still in high school) as he as known throughout deejay circles has toured nationally as Justin Biebers DJ for Usher and Def Jam, Just Lives DJ as part of Wycleff Jean's last tour, Barak Obama's inauguration and full time as Beluga Heights/Warner Bros. DJ for Auburn. He has performed in clubs he's too young to actually get in, lol, locally and nationally because he is that good. His ability to MIX! records flawlessly is a throwback to when skills ruled and has propelled him to national recognition from some of the countries top DJ's (DJ Skee,DJ Warrior, DJ Drama etc), product sponsorship opportunities and radio. Currently he is mixing for KTTB B96 radio with more BIG! things to come on the near horizon.
~Elijah Shaw~
He is currently the "Body Guard To The Stars" with a client list that would make TMZ envious including the likes of Usher, Naomi Campbell, Chris Rock, Dream and more. In addition to that he is working on BIG! things in Hollywood that will continue to put his company ICON Protective Services ahead of the game as the most elite personal protection company in the world.
~Just Live~
This group is currently buzzing nationally as one of hip hops next groups to blow. Fresh off tour with Wycleff Jean last year their single and video for "So Ghetto" landed them features on MTV2, BET's "Tha Deal", VH1.coms next as well as an indie deal with "Think,Think,Think" a New York based label with major label ties. Currently they are working on their album as well as preparing for an international tour with Wycleff.
~Buss One~
Buss is the consumate artist/producer, as the brains behind "Child Of The Black Madonna" and well as his club hop alter ego "Love Starr". Mixing rock with hip hop and 80's and 90's club music with electro he has spawned some incredible records that will ultimately land him a major situation. Currently he is working on new music for his album which promises to "Bring The Noise".

These talented companies are all on the national radar as far as top notch production and incredible remixing goes for numerous artists and labels. This year promises to land them all national placements and make them house hold names in the genre.
