Universal Buzz Radio is a weekly radio series featuring live recordings of the bravest artists in the universe. Our catalog of over 300 exclusive live recordings is only available to college and non-commercial stations.



Universal Buzz Radio is not a radio station, record label, or syndication group. We are not trying to infiltrate your station to satisfy our sponsors. We are an independent company based in Rochester, New York. We record most of our concerts in venues around Western New York.



Universal Buzz Radio uses a number of means to select artists to record. Often our member stations ask us to pursue a specific artist. Artsist also send us recordings they have produced themselves for our use. Mostly we scour concert schedules and record as many upcoming and underground artists as we can.



Universal Buzz Radio member stations receive an hour-long UBR show to air each week at a time they choose. Access to our catalog is FREE. All we require is that you air our 30-second promo 6 times per day. That's it. No life-long commitment, although we hope you stick around for a little while. We've got a spiffy new all-online distribution system that you've just got to check out. Our stations can now choose from a bunch of shows each week and tailor Universal Buzz Radio to their station's every whim and wish. It's almost too good to be true.



Universal Buzz Radio sometimes carries underwriting messages from companies who wish to support our program and reach the most savvy audience in the universe. We pick our underwriters with the same care with which we pick the artists we feature. All of our underwriting messages comply with FCC guidelines.
