UNION860 is a group of goal oriented local talent. Eight of us in all, each bringing their own production value to the table, R & B, Hip Hop, Reggaeton, and Latin Rhythms. Not answering to any one label or stereotype, has allowed us to mesh as a group, and offer a fresh and energetic show.
It has recently been our pleasure to perform at the 2007 Puerto Rican Festival in New Haven, CT. There, on the New Haven Green, we were received by an audience of over 127,000. Reaction from our fans is tremendous and we expect the support given by our fans will open new doors to us. Adding to our experience, is a multitude of clubs to include the legendary Toads Place in New Haven, CT.
Anybody can rap, but what else can you do? This is called the music business and we realize that 98% of it is business and only 2% is music. Therefore we handle all aspects of the business and operate as an independent label with the sole intent of catapulting our selves without external support. Graphic design, management, CD distribution, digital distribution, ring tones, publishing, web master, music production, video production, marketing, bookings, publications, media, artist development, our own access TV show called UNION-TV, etc. Why eat somebody’s crumbs when we can bake our own bread?
We have been called the most energetic and entertaining show in hip-hop to date. Voted Connecticut’s top rap group by various organizations and publications to include the Holla Back Video Awards. We can provide a 45-minute musical set, which can be lengthened or shortened to suit the needs of a show time. We are also willing to edit material for content. We are available for audition, and can provide multiple albums for review by those who wish to hear. Please contact us for material.
