Because a year without touring is a bad year and to prevent corrosion damage UNHOLD is setting out for a little sonic field-trip through CH, CZ, D & A to cast out all bad spirits. The visuals are pimped, the strings polished and drumstick bags are reloaded. We will have a limited exclusive tour shirt with us, a good reason more to show up at one of our shows. After returning UNHOLD will retreat and work on new material.
"To let go of something dearly loved and craved in order to break up and explore new frontiers. Make the shift consciously and keep in honour what you leave behind. Work in modesty and harvest when time is due. The gold cut."
Order "Gold Cut" (here / international orders here), some merchandising items are about to run out, so order quick! Still available through our shop and at our liveshows.

UNHOLD is active since 1992 and could maybe be described as a hybrid originating from early nineties (death-) metal and noiserock drenched in hardcore's disenchanting worldview and gut-felt rage, enlighting darkness with a harmony in the right spot. A clenched fist and the never healing wound. UNHOLD is an ancient term in german for an ogre, a misfit, someone maladjusted and unwilling to please. Besides some d.i.y.-tours through Europe we had the pleasure to open shows for well-known bands like Sick of it All, Crowbar, A Storm Of Light, Transport League, Endstand, Biohazard, Strife or Cataract.
