UMKULU

UMKULU :

Two didgeridoos, a saxophone, a groovy bass, all of which supported by african drums and percussion. UMKULU presents a sole universe, friendly high in colors, vibrations and emotions and moves the audience with their hypnotic loops. A fire-loaded Show!!!

The idea of Umkulu germinated from the encounter on Australian land of three musicians (Mibel, Yo², Seb), who came in search of the origins of the Didgeridoo and of the Aboriginal culture. On the way back, they met Foe N'kolo Ayida who brought them the steady fat beat "à la Camer' " (Cameroon). B.b'R joined them in 2004 armed with his dun-dun and bass, setting up the touch of trance.



2 Didgeridoos, 1 Saxophone, 1 basse Afro-groove, le tout rythmé par une batterie aux pulsations africaines.

UMKULU propose un univers à part, accueillant, riche en couleurs, en vibrations et en émotions, et transporte son public sur ses boucles hypnotiques. Un spectacle chargé d'énergie.

Rencontre en terre Australienne de trois musiciens en 2001 (Mibel, Yo² et Seb) partis à la recherche des origines du Didgeridoo et de la culture Aborigène. Sur le chemin du retour ils rencontrent Foé Nkolo Ayida qui leur apporte la bonne dose rythmique à la sauce Camer' (Cameroun). B.b'R les rejoint en 2004 munis de ses tambours et de sa basse, installant ainsi la pointe de transe.
