I'm doing for a most part of my work SoundTracks of my life so enjoy the trip !!!
Gregory Bonino also goes by Ubeekuitee ( his concept by being everywhere even if he's nowhere ! ) .
He may have several names but, his sound is singular and unique.
Taking in influences from jazz, Nu-jazz ,Old School hip hop, trip hop, house, and ambient.
Gregory Bonino smartly combines the genres into one, sensuous sound.
He updates familiar jazz chords with ambient music to create a cross between cutting edge electronic and soul filled, old time jazz.
His urban influences add punch and character to the lighter electronic and ambient rhythms, lending a steady beat and groove.
About the Music:
Writing and performing songs is a catharsis, a way to travel through his unconscious and tap into his emotions.
He says: " Music makes me travel in my mind feeling hope love pain etc. " His love of music is never ending.
Music begins in my life from the moment I wake up until the moment I fall asleep, joining me in my dreams and nightmares.
Gregory Bonino's obsession with music is evident in his work. His songs move lucidly, beat to beat, track to track, there is a flow to everything that can only captured by someone who is as dedicated to the craft.
When describing his part in the music making process, Gregory Bonino describes himself as, A tourist guide for your senses.
