Here, the ACCORDIONIST from the chamber-folk-jazz group Tin Hat Trio makes his solo debut on saxophonist/composer John Zorn's Tzadik record label. Lost Photograph songs With this release, Rob Burger displays his multi-instrumentalist propensities, backed by the rock-solid rhythm section of drummer/percussionist Kenny Wollesen and bassist Greg Cohen. Throughout this outing, the artist uses unconventional instruments such as a claviola, an old Casio electronic keyboard, prepared piano, marxophone, and other incarnations of musicality. Lost Photograph CD music contains a single disc with 14 songs. Burger has released a pair of solo albums on the Tzadik label, 2002's Lost Photograph and 2009's City of Strangers.
