Twisted Nails

Twisted Nails es una banda de Sant Celoni en activo des del 2000, con Albert (voz y guitarra), Abel (guitarra), Alan (bajo), y Quim (batería), ambos procedentes ya de otras bandas. En 2001, con batería provisional, grabaron su primera maqueta en los primeros estudios Ultramarinos con Santi García y con la que consiguieron ser finalistas del concurso de maquetas "Rock & Classic" (diario "Avui") y del concurso nacional de maquetas "Lagasto Rock" de Jaén.

Su primer disco "Midriasi", publicado en 2005 por Arindelle Records, fue grabado tambien con Santi García y con Narcís (La Célula Durmiente, Moksha) a la batería. Narcís dejo la banda después de la grabación y tras hacer una gira por España con Mau (Les Aus, Zeidun,.), Quim (TCN) se incorporó como batería definitivo de la banda. En 2008 grabaron otra vez con Santi García su segundo disco "incandescence", publicado tambien por el seño madrileño. En 2009, y tras la desaparición del sello, Twisted Nails ganaron el concurso "Sant Celoni Sona'09" e hicieron su última grabación, esta vez en en Kcleta Studios, dando de sí un EP autoproducido titulado "We are animals" que estarán presentando durante 2010.

Twisted Nails is guitar-based rock, the result of a mixture of many influences, from 70s and 90s rock to punk and the latest hardcore.Twisted Nails was formed in the beginning of 2000 with band members from groups such as 'Sheila and The Last Train'. They recorded their first demo in the end of 2001, with seven songs composed by the band. Right after finishing the recording of this demo their drummer left the band and they found themselves without a drummer again. Finally Narcis (member of Moksha) joined the band as drummer. In December 2003 they started recording with Santi García at Estudios Ultramarinos de la Costa Brava. They took part in the Lagarto Rock contest in Jaen with a few songs from the album. They were one of the four groups selected out of more than 400 to participate in the contest's show. At the end of 2004 they recorded three new songs that, along with the ones previously recorded, conform their first album which was

published in May 2005 by Arindelle Records.



Currently, with Quim as new drummer, they are performing all over

Spain to reach a broader audience and introduce their debut album.
