Brian Larsen is a musician, songwriter, producer, writer, and actor. Brian first started playing music when, as an infant, he discovered a toy keyboard that belonged to his older brother. Fascinated by the sounds he was making, Larsen asked to be enrolled in piano lessons. After a few years of training, he began writing songs and recording rough home demo tapes. In 1997, at the tender age of eleven, Brian released his first album, "Pi," under the band name "Twilight's Moon.

" The album was a hazy homemade recording that showed more talent and ambition than professional skill. Still, it was the start of something special. A year later, a classical-themed album, "The Classics" emerged. In 1999, at the age of thirteen, "The Slope" was released. Despite what one reviewer called a "rough hewn" nature, the album received international distribution and sold several thousand copies in its first year of release. "Brian never fails to paint on a grand scale," a reviewer wrote. Larsen responded to the interest by honing his craft, recording "ClockWork," his fourth album, in the months following the release of "The Slope." Considered by many to be his first mainstream effort, “ClockWork” showed an impressive increase in songwriting skill and production value.

“His ambition is admirable and his achievements often are,” wrote AllMusic Guide. Still, Brian was recording on analog equipment and failed to capture the quality and energy of his performances, so for his fifth album, “Emergency Exit,” Larsen created an elaborate studio using all-digital equipment. The result was an album whose music sounded crisp and pristine. “This is likely the beginning of Brian Larsen hitting his stride,” wrote Stephen Thomas Erlewine. The album was a tremendous commercial success, outselling all previous Twilight’s Moon albums combined in a mere six months. Larsen immediately recorded a follow-up EP, “Close to Me,” which was released on Larsen’s sixteenth birthday, April 9, 2002.

He spent much of the following year recording a trance album, “Electric,” which was released to critical acclaim in early 2003. After a three-month long vacation from recording and performing, Brian recorded “Broken Windows” in the summer of 2003, and the album was released in December of that year. Once again, he followed up the album’s huge success with an EP, “Mind Candy,” which was released in April of 2004. After taking the rest of 2004 off, he returned to music in March, 2005 with a new single, “In The Fall," which was released to commercial and critical acclaim. In 2006, Larsen released three singles: “In The Summer,” “Goodnight,” and “I Tried".

By the end of 2006, Brian had received more than 3,000,000 plays of the singles. After taking nearly two years two write and record, Brian's debut 'solo' album "Breaking" will be released on August 4, 2009. The album features 13 all-new songs and was written, produced, and performed in its entirety by Brian. In support of the album, Larsen will begin touring in late 2009.
