----TALES FROM THE METAL UNDERGROUND----
Twilight Odyssey made its debut opening for Angra at the world famous L'Amour in November of 2002. The next year the band released a 3 song demo (selected as demo of the year by Maxiumum Metal) and in 2004 signed to Italy's SteelHeart Records.
Due to "creative conflicts" (tact, tact, tact!) with Steelheart, the band ultimately decided to stick to their guns and release the album, best known for the single "The Endless Days of a Stranger", independently.
In 2007, another well-received 3 song sampler was released in preparation for a second album. Unfortunately, the next few years saw a decimation of the melodic metal scene in the U.S. and the closing of many legendary mid-size and smaller sized venues. At that time T.O. decided to go into hibernation. The band is currently on hiatus while while several of the members work on other projects (most notably, Phantom Isle).
Twilight Odyssey has performed with such well-known acts as Jag Panzer, Testament, Trouble, October 31, Symphony X, Nuclear Assault, Obituary, Demon, God Forbid, Twisted Tower Dire, Pain Museum, Overkill, Angra and Nightwish and has (amazingly enough) been featured in magazines like Rock Brigade, Progression, Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles, Headache and Rock Hard.
The band has worked with Risestar Promotions and secured album distribution through such respected companies as Old School Records (USA), Hitman Records (Japan) and Hellion Records (Germany/Brazil).
T.O. has also appeared at numerous festivals including March Metal Meltdown, Classic Metal Fest, Metal Mind Rage and Louder, Harder, Faster and secured radio play in over 30 countries.
