Turncoat is an El Paso local modern rock band founded in mid 2005 with the vision of establishing itself as a house name in the metropolitan area and most of all, to play music as well as sharing their original songs with anyone who is willing to listen.
The band covers an array of Classic and Modern Rock by Internationally known bands such as, Journey, ACDC, Bon Jovi, Foreigner, Thin Lizzy, Peter Frampton, Van Halen through Foo Fighters, Shinedown, Audioslave, Greenday, Black Label Society, Fuel, Lit, Stone Temple Pilots, Tantric, Fall Out Boy, Godsmack, Danzig, and many others.

The band has performed at many local venues to include The Bulldog Pub, Uncle Paulie's, The 3 Legged Monkey, Big Daddy's, Sugar Daddy's Bar & Grill, Aceitunas, Bombardiers, Mavericks Bar & Grill, The Other Bar, Take II, Chubby's Bar & Chill, Rockabilly's, Chaser's Sports Bar, The Garage Tequila Bar, Hot Rods & Wheels, The Hydrant, Mulligan's North, The Dome (Camino Real Hotel), Longhorn Saloon , The Bayou, The Other Bar, and also performed at the 2008 Bennigan's Blarney Blast, Rock The Desert 2008 at McGregor Range, NM, in support of t he 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Annual Cerveza Festival - Ascarate Park, KLAQ International Balloon Fest 2008 @ Wet 'n' Wild, and also participated in the 3rd Annual Rock 'n' Roll Rumble presented by 99.1 FM The Eagle.
Most recently, the band was added to the local band line-up for KLAQ's International Balloon Fest 2010.
