Ladies and Gentlemen,

Welcome to violence.

A walk down memory lane

and into a world where

NOTHING was SACRED.

Named in honor of the gorgeous, kick ass vixen

who inspired me after watching her in

the Russ Meyer cult classic film

"FASTER PUSSYCAT, KILL KILL"

Tura Satana debuted our first album

"RELIEF THROUGH RELEASE"

in 1998 on Noise Records Germany through F.A.D in the states.

Although we re-released the Manhole album

"ALL IS NOT WELL"

in 1997 under the name Tura Satana

(because we were forced into a name change)

we consider this to be our one and only album

under this moniker.

While the band began as the same line up previously known as Manhole,

soon after recording our second album

which we co-produced with Micheal Vail Blum

and co-wrote with long time guitar player Scott Ueda

and filming the video for "Luna"

we felt it was time for a change.

Due to irreconcilable differences,

we asked Scott to leave.

Brian Harrah joined us shortly after and we had a new beginning

life and love in the band.

It was once again fun for everyone.

We toured the world with Brian, playing countless shows

all over the United States and throughout the UK & Europe.

Including some incredible festivals and headline gigs.

We grew very close and our band grew very tight musically.

We became a different band than Manhole

with a different sound and a new message.

We were a monster live.

Sadly that monster would eventually come to destroy us.

For some Tura Satana was short lived.

For us, it felt like a lifetime.

We rocked hard and fought harder.

After long nights on the road and one too many arguements

I quit the band.

While it was one of the saddest moments of my life

to know that Tura Satana was over.

I knew it could no longer continue.

Today, I can happily say that the four of us remain good friends

better than when we were a band.

We are all doing our own things musically and non musically

and we still love and support each other like family.

Although Scott helped us to create a beautiful album

which stands the test of time

and has influenced many other female fronted bands of today

(whether or not they will admit it)

as Marcelo, Rico and I look back fondly on our time together

it is Brian that we consider to be the guitarist of Tura Satana

because it was Brian who helped us bring that album to life,

live on stage.on many nights.

I created this page out of my love for this band.

I will never forget the moments we shared, good & bad

and someday it will be documented in a book.

It's a shame that it ended the way it did

everything happens for a reason.

So for those of you who have never heard Tura Satana,

here's your chance.enjoy

and for those of you who haveREMEMBER.

Hugs & Hisses

xoxo

Miss B
