Born in the village of Diego Martin, Trinidad, Truth became a New Orleans resident at age 4.



This was approximately the time when the Hip Hop Genesis was taking place. The years to



come would find Truth Universal becoming an active participant in artform. Observing his



present level eMCee proficiency, it's obvious that TU carefully studied the unspoken rules



and examples set forth by the early practitioners of the art. His ideals of Hip Hop



preservation, and non conformity, coupled with his social dialogue makes him a significant



factor in today's Hip Hop arena.
