Trobar de Morte comes to life in the year 1999 as a solo project of Lady Morte, singer, composer and keyboardist.
In 2003, after having been part of disbanded bands like "Dark & Beauty" and "Ordo Funebris", Lady Morte decides to go ahead with Trobar de Morte as her main and only musical project.
That same year, Trobar de Morte publishes her fist mini-album Nocturnal Dace of The Dragonfly through Drama Company.
In 2004, Trobar de Morte play their first gig on May 8th at Sala Mephisto, Barcelona.
In August, they enter the studio to start recording their first album Fairydust, which will be edited and sold in December through Drama Company.
In 2005, on the month of February, the band presents live Fairydust at Sala Mephisto. In March, they play at the "Existence Festival" in Valencia.
Two months later, they get to perform at the German festival "Wave Gotik Treffen".
In July, they play again at the second edition of the Valencian "Existence Festival". Finally, between the months of September and November, Trobar de Morte register their new album Reverie at Axstudios.
In 2006, Reverie is published in a digipack limited edition in the month of January, again through Drama Company. For this work, they invite to participate fantastic illustrator Victoria Frances (Norma Editorial).
In March 3rd, the band introduces the new album at Sala Rulot in Barcelona.
Trobar de Morte are later invited to Medusa Festival in Portugal, where they are the open act for the magnificent Italian band "Ashram". They get to perform twice in Portuguese lands, the first one in Lisbon on June 2nd, and the second one, a day later, in Vilanova de Famaliçao.
In December 16th they play live at Sala BeCool in Barcelona.
In 2007, in winter, Trobar de Morte go back to Axstudios to start recording a new album.
In May 5th, they are invited to play at Sala Silikona in Madrid by Muzike, an organization from that city.
In June 17th, Trobar de Morte get to play at a festival in Molins de Rei, Barcelona, called "Ethereal Fest", in which they also perform bands like Der Blaue Reiter, Traumer Leben and Gae Bolg.
In September 8th, they play at Sala Nocturna in Barcelona; and in September 23rd, they perform as the opening act for legendary band Faith and The Muse.
In 2008, in the month of February, the new album Legends of Blood and Light is published in a luxurious and limited edition on digipack format to 3000 copies. This time, the record is published through Basque company In The Morningside Records and the artistic design is carried out by French illustrator J. P. Fournier.
In May, Trobar de Morte goes back to Leipzig, Germany, again to perform at the Wave Gotik Treffen. There, they play twice in two different scenarios, the first one at Heidnische Dorf and the second one at Agra Hal.
In December, they play at Sala Ritmo & Compás in Madrid.
In 2009, in the month of April, they participate at the annual medieval party "Lux Aeterna" at Undead Dark Club, Barcelona, in which they will play again three months later.
In September, they are invited to play at the German Festival Mediaval in Selb.
In 2010, which has been kind of a sabbatical year, they are scheduled to play in the month of March at Montiel Medieval Festival, but due to technical problems alien to the band, they will not perform.
In the month of April, they play in Madrid at Sala 666.
Currently, the band is getting ready to record a new album, which will feature all acoustic songs, due to come out towards the middle of 2011.
