DJ T-RELL

Randall T.Robertson Jr. a.k.a.DJ T-RELL was born to Maria Davis & Randall T.Robertson Sr.in Markham IL.Growing up,T-RELL was the yougest member of the South Shore Drillteam(Which is Where his mother & father met)and he had his first movie debut at the age of 1 on''Ferris Bueller's Day Off''during the downtown Chicago parade scene.As he grew up,T-RELL learned a lot of things about music as far as gospel,disco,old school Rap,Funk & R&B because his father,Randall Sr.(better known as DJ PHANTOM of 107.5 WGCI radio)was ALWAYS DJ-ING in the basement.T-Rell was a humble yougin',so curious about DJ-Ing-he often snuck and turned his father's equipment on and expirimented on his own.Despite the needles he broke,and records he scratched,he had fell in love with DJ-ing and later on got his first pair of turntables at the early age of 14.Practicing on turntablism became frustrating for him but no matter what-he kept on going.Being with his dad on a regular took a toll on him.As a teenager,he listened to nothing but DR.Dre & DJ Quik,two of his father's favorite producers.These Producers are pioneers of the music industry and then-is when T-RELL learned the aspect of what ''Good Music'' sounded like.In the year of '2001',T-RELL was introduced to production and got his first drum machine which was a mpc 2000xl,the same exact drum machine that Quik & Dr.Dre used.Living in Chicago,the genre of music was different.Juke music was SO popular at that time and T-RELL despritely wanted be a part of it so he got with some of the pioneers of the Juke game-DJ CLENT,DJ C-BIT,&DJ SPINN.Juke music had got unoriginal so he halted the juke tracks and began his journey on producing rap beats.By the year of '2007',he had it,From sampled beats,to original beats,to writing his own hooks and verses you name it-he had it.Rapping was never a plan in being a DJ/Producer but the spirit came from outta nowhere.
