TRIPOD

Tripod started out in 2002 as a threepiece with Stein-Inge Øien (guitar and backing vocals), Åge Solheim (drums) and Espen Bjørnholt (bass) but got their act together in 2003 when singer Knut Lillestøl joined the band. They spent the next years making songs and entering the studio every time they could afford it, resulting finally in 2008s "Nevermind This Black Album" which Tripod released at Trøndercore Records.
In 2011 Tripod released the album "Four Coins" in China through October Party Records and did a 2 weeks tour there, playing everything from small clubs to festivals. "Four Coins" later got released once again at Trøndercore Records in Norway, where the band followed up with a tour and even got coverage with a 2 page article in Metal Hammer Norway.
Shortly after the release of "Four Coins" the band got contacted by legendary producer Beau Hill (Warrant, Ratt, Twisted Sister, Alice Cooper and alot more) who wanted to remix the album, he made Tripod an offer they couldnt refuse and it looks like the albums story is just getting started. In august 2012 Tripod signed with Ghost Town Artist and will once again release the album with a new and improved sound uppon the masses early 2013.
Tripod will once again enter the studio in 2013 to record their third album.
